Marija Astrauskaite (she/her) is a designer and artist with a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois Chicago, working across spatial, furniture, and experimental design.
Her work explores the relationships between space, people, and objects, and is grounded in the dialogue between qualitative and quantitative ways of thinking.
She is interested in the and, where logic meets intuition, data meets empathy, and beauty and function coexist. Designing through both reason and feeling, she believes intuition is what connects systems, creating pathways between analysis and experience.
Her practice reflects this balance through hands-on making, research, and experimentation. From furniture and spatial design to medical tools developed in collaboration with doctors, her work considers not only how objects function, but how they are felt, used, and lived with over time.
